IR 12 38

The IR aspect of the product code indicates that this our firmest density gasketing product. It has an adhesive on one side and is usually reserved for customers who are working with the extremely heavy weight material, and/or excessively strong vacuum systems.

Products that are 1/8" thick are termed by All*Star as All-A-Board gasketing products. All-A-Board indicates that it is thick enough to be used as an in-board product in a shallow channel (usually about 3/32"+/- deep) of a dedicated spoilboard. It is also thin enough to be used on the surface of a fixture as an on-board gasket when working with extremely warped and uneven surfaced material.

The 3/8" width allows customers to turn a fairly tight radius while starting to increase the width of the gasketing surface contact.
