The CR aspect of the product code indicates that it is a medium density gasketing product. It has an adhesive on one side and is the most commonly ordered density because it works for so many different router applications.

A product that is 3/8" thick is usually used as an in-board gasketing product. It is most commonly ordered by customers who are working with products with excess variance (warp, grain, textured surface, etc...). The channel for this thickness should be routed roughly 9/32" deep, leaving 3/32" above the board (a 3-to-1 ratio). The more commonly ordered thickness for in-board gasketing is 1/4" thick.

The 1" width creates maximum surface contact. It may also lend itself to customize vacuum areas directly into the gasketing. This concept (customizable wide gasket sheets) is also available in the product groups Spoilboard Covers and Zone Board Covers.

CR 38 100 can be used as a grid gasket on some Komo machines that do not have the nesting table top. It fits in the 1" wide channels and stick above the surface just right.
